Nii Wilson is a nationally certified sports performance coach through the USA Weightlifting Association. Nii loves speed and power training. His passion for power, speed, and performance is a personal struggle. Nii suffers from digestive issues and sickle cell (SC) disease which is a genetic blood disorder that affects hemoglobin levels, causes pain in joints, lowers oxygen consumption, and can be fatal in some instances. While stationed in Bamberg Germany with the US ARMY, Nii Wilson had a serious and painful sickle cell crisis and became ill after finishing first place in a six mile run. Nii was hospitalized for 1 week and went from 155lbs to 135lbs. With scientific training, nutrition, and determination Nii Wilson transformed his body to a more healthy and athletic 167lbs before being honorably discharged from the US ARMY at Fort Campbell, Kentucky 2003 after 4 years of service.
